Tony Stark Bingo

The mods have fielded several inquiries recently about the DUM-E badge (we know, they’re super cute and we’re excited to offer this badge for our... organizationally challenged writers.)

So, to clarify:

The DUM-E badge is mutually exclusive with the Bingo or Blackout Badges.

A DUM-E badge is meant to recognize participants who do five or more fills without getting a bingo -- that means no rows, columns, diagonals, or four-corners-and-the-center -- in any direction.

We had several participants last round who did a scattering of fills, and the Dum-E badge is our way of saying “we see you doing your best, honey.”

Because of this, unlike Participation or Bingo or Blackout badges, the Dum-E badge will NOT be handed out until the event is over and the Master Posts have been made. (yes, you really have to make your master post!)

But I really want one!

Yeah, you and like half the rest of the participants, we know! So, if you want a Dum-E badge AND you’ve already gotten a bingo: You need to FINISH your first card, and then request a second card, and do at least 5 (non bingo filling) fills on THAT card.

Consider this badge to be like one of the obscure achievements in various video games. Not everyone is going to get one, and that’s OKAY.
